Northland sees women's soccer & women's basketball coaches step down
In the wake of learning of Northland College’s uncertain future, two head coaches have stepped down.
Aaron Blanchard is leaving his post as Northland’s head women’s soccer coach, while Ben Kluzak resigned as their head women’s basketball coach.
Kluzak took over the program in 2023. Former assistant Corey Sackmann has been named interim head coach.
Blanchard departs after one year as head coach of the LumberJills, and three as an assistant for Northland men’s and women’s soccer. In January he was named head coach of Superior City FC women’s soccer, which operates in the late spring and summer.
