No. 19 UMD men shut out by Colorado College in NCHC opener

On Friday night the No. 19 University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) men’s hockey team suffered a 5-0 shutout loss to Colorado College in their National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC) opener on the road.

The Bulldogs allowed four goals in the first period and the final in the second.

UMD goalie Matthew Thiessen came in relief for Zach Stejskal after the first tallying 17 saves. For the full box score, click here.
