Max Plante commits to UMD

Derek Plante is off to the Chicago Blackhawks, but the long tradition of playing college athletics at the University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) is still going strong as another of his sons, this time Max Plante has committed to the school.
Max will be joining his older brother Zam as a recruit, both helped Hermantown to a Class A state championship this past season.
While Max lead the Hawks in scoring as only a sophomore, tallying 18 goals, 53 assist, and 71 points in 31 games.
