Koski’s goal lifts Esko girls soccer past Denfeld, to third straight win

On Tuesday the Esko girls soccer team shut out Duluth Denfeld 1-0 at Esko School Fields to extend their unbeaten streak to eight games.
Esko’s Britta Koski scored the game’s sole goal with under seven minutes left in the first half.
Esko improves to 10-1-3. They close out their regular season Thursday visiting Cloquet/Carlton (9-2-4) at 4 p.m.
Denfeld (8-4-3) closes out their regular season visiting Grand Rapids (6-5-2) Thursday at 7 p.m.
