Hermantown volleyball stays undefeated after battle with Proctor

A neighborly rivalry unfolded in Proctor Thursday the Rails played host to the undefeated Hermantown Hawks.

The Hawks lead the first set 19-17 as Caitlyn Salgy soared high for the spike with the Rails on the rebound but couldn’t get control resulting in a point for the Hawks.

Rails got close on to the Hawks as Senior Ella Walker sent one over the net for a Rails point.

Through three sets, the Hermantown Hawks won 3-0 staying undefeated improving to 4-0. They will hit the courts again on Tuesday hosting Greenway. The game is set for 7 p.m.

The Proctor Rails will be heading the road on Saturday for a match-up against St. Francis at 10 a.m.
