Hermantown softball earns shutout win over Proctor

A three-run blast by Baily Edwards in the sixth inning Tuesday lifted Hermantown softball to a 4-0 victory over Proctor at Egerdahl Field.

The Hawks were up 1-0 entering the sixth when Edwards drove home the final three runners of the game.

Hermantown handed the Rails just their second loss on the season. The Hawks are next scheduled to host Esko Thursday at 4:30 p.m.

Proctor (6-2) is next set to visit Duluth Denfeld Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.
