Former UMD women’s hockey player Monique Aanenson named head coach of Gentry Academy

Former University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) women’s hockey player Monique Aanenson was named head coach of Gentry Academy’s girls’ hockey team on Monday morning.

She served as the assistant coach last year as part of the teams state championship, finishing with a record of 27-2.

Aanenson played in 90 games for the Bulldogs all the way from 2017-2021.
