Former UMD captain Noah Cates named to NCHC All-Decade team

In the midst of celebrating their 10th season the National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC) has release an All-Decade team, and the great Noah Cates made the cut.

The former two-time University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) men’s hockey captain was named to the All-Decade Second Team.

The Stillwater, Minnesota native finished his collegiate career with 99 points over 139 games. Cates helped the Bulldogs win the 2019 NCAA Championship, and two NCHC Frozen Faceoff crowns.

Now a member of the Philadelphia Flyers he also represented Team USA in the 2022 Winter Olympics.

The All-Decade First Team will be released in parts this Tuesday through Thursday.
