Former GRG star, Bemidji State’s Claire Vekich enters transfer portal

Former Grand Rapids/Greenway girls hockey star Claire Vekich has entered the transfer portal.
A sophomore the Coleraine native skated two seasons for the Bemidji State University women’s hockey team.
In that time she scored 14 goals adding five assists over 64 career games. This season she led the team in scoring with seven goals in 36 games.
Vekich has two years of eligibility remaining.
