The UMD men’s hockey team will boast five players on the NHL’s biggest stage, as five former Bulldogs will be featured in the NHL’s Stanley Cup Playoffs.

The Bulldogs are most represented on the Winnipeg Jets roster, with defensemen Neal Pionk and Dylan Samberg, joined by forward Alex Iafallo.

Game one for the Jets is against the Avalanche on Sunday at 6 p.m.

Over on the Los Angeles Kings, Mikey Anderson will suit up, while Carson Soucy will represent the Bulldogs for the Vancouver Canucks. Anderson and the Kings don’t play until Monday against the Oilers at 9 p.m., but the Canucks play the Predators on Sunday night at 9 p.m.

If both the Canucks and Kings win their series, it will be a battle of former Bulldogs in the second round.
