Esko’s Perich wins 2024 All-American Bowl Most Valuable Player
The last time Annandale and Esko faced off was the 2019 state tournament, where Esko fell 33-13. Esko will try for revenge on Saturday.
Esko’s Koi Perich, who is headed to play for the Minnesota Golden Gophers next season, took home the Most Valuable Player award in the 2024 All-American Bowl, which featured the best high school football players in the country.
Perich tallied one interception and was credited with a blocked punt en route to winning the MVP.
Perich was joined by three other future Gophers and has cemented himself as one of the best players in the nation.
