Esko football advances in state tournament

On Saturday afternoon in snowy conditions the Esko Eskomos football team took to the field against New London-Spicer.
Esko was down 7-0 in the second half before a handoff to Makoy Perich tied the ball game.
The turning point of the game came off an Esko interception by Carter Zezulka, which was returned for a touchdown.
Allowing the Eskomos to beat New London-Spicer by the final score of 28-21.
