Duluth’s Eric Hartmark takes 3rd in World Snowshoe Championships

Duluth’s own Eric Hartmark raced to success overseas during Labor Day weekend.

On Saturday Hartmark took third place in the 2022 World Snowshoe Championships held in Caviahue-Copahue, Neuquen, Argentina.

He finished the 12k in 59 minutes 59 seconds, just over 2 minutes behind the first place finisher Javier Carriqueo of Brazi who finished at 57:10.

In total 318 competitors started the race with 271 crossing the finish line. For full results for both the 12k and 5k races, Click Here.

Hartmark claimed the World Snowshoe Championships crown in 2019.
