Duluth Marshall baseball wins big in season opener against Aitkin, winning 10-0

After much anticipation, deep, packed snow and more, prep baseball is making its appearance back outside for local prep teams; as Duluth Marshall welcomed Aitkin to town for a Thursday evening match up at Wade Stadium.

Hilltopper’s Owen Marsolek on the mound and right off the top of the game, he throw a no-hitter in the first inning. Marsolek followed that up by throwing a no-hitter in the third inning as well.

The Hilltoppers got their run of the game off a line-drive to centerfield by Marsolek. Marshall had three runs on the board in the third inning and continued to increase their score, eventually going on to win in a big way 10-0.
