Duluth Marshall and Proctor girl’s basketball teams fall in Section 7AA semifinals

The battle for a trip to the Section 7AA in prep girl’s basketball was up for grabs as No. 3 seed Crosby-Ironton went facing off against No. 2 seeded Proctor at Romano gym on the campus of University of Minnesota Duluth.

The game was close in the first half and stayed throughout the game until the end, when the Rangers of Crosby-Ironton toppled the Rails 55-53. The Rails end their season with an overall record of 20-9.

Earlier at Romano gym, No.4 seed Duluth Marshall and No. 1 seed Pequot Lakes hit the hardwood. The Patriots took hold of the game and never looked back, going on to win 64-49.

Regan Juenemann led the Hilltoppers with 20 points, as they end their post-season run with a record of 19-10.
