On Tuesday, exactly three months away from their season opener, the Duluth Huskies announced two local signings, their first of the 2024 class.

Duluth East alum, current Minnesota Gopher freshman, Charlie Sutherland and Esko native, a Minnesota State University-Mankato freshman, Cale Haugen are joining the 2024 squad.

Sutherland was a top-ranked utility player with the Greyhounds. Haugen, a right handed pitcher and outfielder, helped Esko to a 2023 state title, while earning Minnesota and Gatorade baseball player of the year honors.
