Deer River’s Gullickson, Herring invited to Indigenous Bowl

The Minnesota Vikings are set to host the 5th annual Indigenous Bowl this weekend and two Northlanders earned an invite.
Deer River football’s Bryce Herring and Tygh Gullickson were named to the 2022 roster. JoJo Thompson was the first-ever Warrior representative last year.
Founded in 2017 the game is open to native high school seniors not yet enrolled in full time college.
Kickoff is Sunday, Dec. 11 at 10 a.m. at U.S. Bank Stadium.
