Deer River football falls to Springfield in State Semifinal
The Deer River football team was looking to stay undefeated on the season as they took on Springfield in the Class A State Semifinal on Saturday at U.S Bank Stadium.
The Warriors trailed 12-0 in the first quarter before Tygh Gullickson collected a touchdown.
Quarterback Sam Rahier threw 14/21 on the day, for a total of 174 yards and two touchdowns.
Ethan Williams had the most offensive recieving yards in the game with a total of 65.
As Deer River fell by the final score of 54-30, ending their season with an overall record of 12-1.
