CSS softball split home opening doubleheader

After 18 total games on the road to start the season, the College of Saint Scholastica softball team finally threw the first pitch at home on Monday for a doubleheader against Concordia.

The Saints were on a four game losing streak coming into the first game of the day. That unfortunately was extended to five straight defeats as they fell 7-4.

Game two was more in the Saints favor as they won by one run 7-6.

Next up the Saints are back on the road Tuesday for yet another doubleheader, this time against Augsburg at 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
