CSS men’s tennis’ first MIAC playoff appearance ends in quarterfinals

Tuesday the College of St. Scholastica (CSS) men’s tennis team fell 6-3 to St. John’s University in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) quarterfinals at the Duluth Indoor Sports Center.

This marked CSS’ first-ever trip to the MIAC playoffs, now in their second season in the conference.

The Saints suffered a sweep in doubles play, but would pick up two wins in singles play from Hibbing native Riley Versich (7-6 (7-4), 6-1) and Duluth native Reece Patten (6-4, 6-2). For the full box score, Click Here.

CSS finishes their season 12-8 overall and 6-3 in MIAC play.
