On Wednesday the College of St. Scholastica (CSS) men’s soccer team returned home for just the second time this season hosting Concordia College Moorhead in their Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) opener.

The Saints would keep the Cobbers at bay in the first half allowing no goals. However Saints’ Fabian Andrade would receive a yellow then subsequent red card by the 14th minute.

In the second half the Cobbers scored two goals in under 10 minutes. Finally the Saints scoring got rolling as Duluth Denfeld alum Keegan Chastey netted a goal in the 78th minute with an assist from Parker Chastey.

But that is it as CSS falls 2-1. This marks Chastey’s third straight game with a goal.

The Saints fall to 1-4 overall. Next they visit Bethel University Saturday at 1 p.m.
