CSS Football gets annihilated in Saturday afternoon matchup

Saturday was a day that Saint Scholastica football wishes never happened, as they were trounced by Gustavus Adolphus 63-12.
It was an ugly afternoon for the Saints, as they surrendered 35 points by the half. They didn’t score their first touchdown until under two minutes were left in the second quarter. However, after that touchdown, they wouldn’t score again.
Gustavus Adolphus outgained the Saints in offensive yardage by a margin of 614 to 280.
The Saints will try to return to .500 next Saturday against St. Olaf College.
