CSS baseball suffers home opening sweep to Concordia Moorhead

Wednesday, 19 games into their 2023 season, the College of St. Scholastica (CSS) baseball team finally held their home opener at Wade Stadium.
Hosting Concordia College, Moorhead the Saints however would suffer the doubleheader sweep falling 14-2 in game one then 14-5 in game two.
In game one the Saints gave up 13 straight runs, then in game two allowed six in the ninth.
CSS falls to 3-18 overall on the season. They’re back home Saturday hosting Augsburg University for another Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference doubleheader at 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
