Searching for some magic was on the planner for the College of St. Scholastic Saints as they went looking to get a win at home after their last three road games.

The Saints partook in an afternoon matchup at Wade Stadium, hosting Concordia College Moorhead Minnesota Cobbers.

In the third inning, the game was scoreless until Cobbers Jacoby Nold grounded one to centerfield, giving Dylan Erholtz the green light to score the first run of the game. The Cobbers continued to increase their score, going on to win 13-2.

CSS was able to score their own two runs of the game by right fielder Jack Harris having two RBI’s resulting in third baseman Jake Schelonka and shortstop Mitchell Novak scoring.

CSS will hit the diamond again on the road against the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse on Sunday for a doubleheader.
