Another one in the books for No. 4 UMD volleyball as they defeat Crookston at home

The No. 4 University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) volleyball went into Thursday’s home game against the University of Minnesota Crookston looking for a win after dropping a game to No. 3 Concordia University, St. Paul on Saturday, October 15.

Sydney Lanoue led the team in kills with 12. Madison Gordon had a night with 28 assists, and Kaylyn Madison kept the digs going with 21 on the night. UMD outscored Crookston in assists with 44-16 and in digs tallying 51-33 to defeat the Golden Eagles 3-0 in straight sets.

With Thursday’s win, the Bulldogs improve to 20-2 on the season. Next up for the Bulldogs is a trip to Bemidji State University on Saturday.
