New role for familiar face in the mining industry

LaTisha Gietzen has been appointed as the new Marketing Manager – Mining North America.

Kalenborn Abresist Corporation, a leading provider of wear protection solutions, proudly announced the appointment of LaTisha Gietzen as the new Marketing Manager – Mining North America.

In this role, LaTisha will spearhead sales, business development, and brand promotion for Kalenborn’s mining products on the Range and beyond.

Gietzen brings over 25 years of invaluable experience in the mining industry in Minnesota. She most recently worked with NewRange Copper Nickel, and before that, Cleveland-Cliffs.

“I’m thrilled to begin on this exciting new journey with Kalenborn Abresist Corporation. Joining such an amazing team will be an exciting new adventure, and I’m eager to contribute to the growth and success of Kalenborn in the mining sector,” Gietzen said.

She’s a fourth-generation Iron Ranger miner, coupled with her extensive leadership experience in various capacities within the mining sector, positions her as a driving force for positive change.

Her commitment extends beyond the professional realm, demonstrated by her active role as the First Vice President of the Board of Directors for United Way of Northeastern Minnesota.
