Thirsty Pagan Brewing serves up beer and pizza on Winter Street in Superior, and for the next couple Saturdays, they’re also serving holiday cheer.

On Dec. 3 and 10, the Thirsty Pagan is hosting a holiday market from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. They’ll have 16 vendors and serve food and drinks made from scratch.

“Everything is locally made. It’s all really good,” Steve Knauss from the Thirsty Pagan said. “We have bonfires going, and it’s right at Thirsty Pagan, so if you get cold, you go right inside.”

One of the alcoholic options they’ll have is from White Winter Winery in Iron River, Wis. It’s a hot drink called a “Winter Warmer,” half cider and half Glogg.

“It’s a holiday drink that can’t be beat,” Knauss said.

He said No. 2 is Connolly’s Tom & Jerry Batter.

“It really reminds you of what winter and Christmases used to be. It’s so fun and exciting,” Knauss said. “You get a little nutmeg on top, a little brown Christmas cheer in there with a little hot water.”

Thirsty Pagan will also be pouring locally-brewed beer like the North Coast Amber.
