UMD events to learn about indigenous culture

There are a couple of events coming up at UMD to help the public experience the Indigenous culture.

There are couple of UMD events that aim to honor Indigenous Culture.

UMD’s American Indian Learning Resource Center is hosting its annual Spring Feast on Tuesday, March 19. It’s from noon – 2 p.m. in UMD’s Kirby Ballroom.

UMD is also excited to host its Spring Powwow for the first time in 15 years. This time they’re hoping to make it an annual tradition. It’s Saturday, March 23 at the Ward Wells Fieldhouse at UMD.

All are invited, and it’s free. Grand entries will be at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m..
