For a year and a half now, Stephen Swanstrom has been working full-time at his small business, the Norse Bakehouse. He specializes in Scandinavian baked goods.

For traditional desserts week, he whipped up a Swedish Tea Ring.

“So it’s a cardamom dough with an almond paste filling, topped with a little icing and Maraschino cherries,” Swanstrom said.

The process of making it involves several steps with time to rise in between.
