The deadlift is hinge movement, which means the joints bend in a motion, similar to a door opening and closing.

This moves work the back, glutes, legs, and core.

Start with your legs hip width apart and then activate your core, bringing the shoulder blades down and back.

As you come down in a hinge motion, push you butt back, keep your shoulder blades down and core tight.
