Bentleyville hasn’t always had 5 million lights, 30,000 free hats, and thousands of free marshmallows, cups of cocoa, and cookies.

In 2005, Nathan Bentley’s display at his home in Esko was drawing crowds that had to be shuttled in.

The 2023 season marks Bentleyville’s 20th, and it now operates as a year-round nonprofit organization with a couple full-time employees.
