Swedish Cultural Society putting on Nordic Review

The Swedish Cultural Society is hosting a Nordic Review this Sunday, May 21.
Jenn Conboy, president of the Swedish Cultural Society, said the group is about 90 years old and meets to preserve Swedish language and customs. They’re putting on the Nordic Review for the first time.
“I think it’s so family-friendly,” Conboy said. “You’d be surprised of how many Swedes, Norwegians, and Finns we have around here or they’re marrying into that culture.”
A silent auction starts at 1:30 p.m. followed by a program at 2:30. The program will feature various Scandinavian folk costumes and music. It is free, but donations are accepted.
