How mom’s can focus on self care to relax

Using some quick tips can help you relax and slow stress during National Stress Awareness month.

Andrea Jang, owner of Duluth Mom, is offering up three ways that moms can take care of themselves with little to no cost or extra scheduling.

No. 1: Close your eyes. Take a deep breathe.

No. 2: Recline, or be 100% horizontal if you are able to

This will help you reduce muscle tension and stress. If you don’t have time to fall asleep try notice something you can see, something you can hear, and wiggle your fingers and toes

No. 3: Schedule a mom’s night

This could be a beach day on Park Point, a night out a restaurant that you wouldn’t usually go with your family too, and invite mom friends over to your house after bedtime and chat while doing something creative.
