Felix the lynx from the Lake Superior Zoo is 16 years old.

lynx have really long legs and large paws that help them get through the snow.

She’s an excellent hunter and also is friends with the fire department. Recently she received a new fire hose bed. Her zoo keeper says, “She has some other fire hose beds and items in her habitat that are made by the fire department.”

Those items help with the enrichments for all kinds of animals.

Recently the zoo had to put up some secondary mesh up because of her hunting abilities. She was getting some critters getting into her exhibit.
