Homegrown Music Festival announces Dress-Up Themes

The 2024 Homegrown Music Festival runs Sunday, April 18 through Sunday, May 5 throughout Duluth and Superior.

Week-long wristbands are on sale now for $40 at Globe News, Zenith Bookstore, and River City Records.

The dress-up days are as follows:

Happy Homegrown Sunday: Wear merch from your favorite band or Homegrown Festivals.

Magical Monday: Dress like a witch, wizzard, fairy, or unicorn. Bring a little magic with you to all the venues.

Preppy Tuesday: Think polo shirts, penny loafers, hair crunchies, and pleated skirts.

Western Wednesday: Invites you to dust off your cowboy boots and mozy on down to West Duluth.

Thrifty Thursday: Make like Macklemore and put together a killer outfit on a Dime.

Superhero Friday: Dress like you’re ready to save the day.

Seventies Saturday: Are you team rock or disco? Prove it by dressing like your fave.

Relaxation Sunday: After a week of partying- you’ve earned this day to relax. This is the memo to dress down.

Homegrown Music Festival is also looking for volunteers, There are training days on Tuesday, April 16 at 5 p.m., Thursday, April 18 at 7 p.m., and Saturday, April 20 @ 11 a.m.. You must sign up online.

Volunteers get a free weeklong pass and t-shirt.
