Moms are some of the most difficult people to shop for, and they’re notorious for insisting they don’t need anything. If they want something throughout the year they just buy, and if they don’t, it’s likely a high ticket item that their kids can’t afford.

If you’re looking to give mom something bigger, or go in on a gift with siblings Andrea Jang of Duluth Mom tell us we should look at giving her a some time off, “Something that’s always on my list is a night away at an Air BnB by myself with no alarm clocks. Just quiet.” Another idea is noise-cancelling headphones or a Nespresso machine.

A professional photography sessions another great gift. “Think about when your mom got her professional photo. I hope it wasn’t her grad pictures. Maybe at a family wedding. It’s really nice if you’re not in a professional job setting,” Andrea tells us.

If you’re looking at mid-priced gift for mom, you’re going to want to go with something cozy and luxurious. This could be a nice throw blanket, good slippers, heated items, and matching athleisure is trending right now. Or you might want to look at giving an experience or something that creates a memory.

If you’re looking for some stocking stuffers, think practical daily-use items. Andrea recommends a winter or a Winter Night Candle. For more ideas check out Duluth Mom‘s website.
