Family fun at the Finnish Midsummer Festival

Juhannus is the Finnish word for midsummer, which is the longest day of the year celebrated across many cultures.

The Northland Finlandia Foundation has a Finnish Midsummer festival planned. It’s both family friendly and free.

You don’t need to be Finnish to enjoy the event. It’s Saturday, June 24 from 1 – 4 p.m. at Sampo Beach in Saginaw.
