Esko author explores Duluth in ‘A Cloud Came Down and Sat on the Ground’

When Eileen Dvorak moved to the Duluth area and drove across the Blatnik Bridge, she spotted two cloud nestled into the hillside of Duluth.

She look at her husband and said, “A cloud came down and sat on the ground… I have to write a book.”

The story follows the grandchildren and Mr. Cloud as they moves through landscapes familiar to those who live in Duluth, like Hawke Ridge, the hillside, and Canal Park.
