Bentleyville brings a lot of energy to Bayfront while it’s in town. Jay Walker, Executive Director of the Great Lakes Aquarium, tells us that he sees a lot families head to both Bentleyville and the aquarium: “It’s good to see more people coming around when there’s any type of event.”

Santa Claus even finds the time to scuba dive at the aquarium. Jay tells us, “Santa is a helpful guy. He’s really busy this time of year. He likes to give, and he likes to give to our fish.” Starting December 3rd, he can be seen feeding the sturgeon through the weekend of the 19th.

Now through December 31, the Great Lakes Aquarium is hosting a holiday membership drive, which includes the usual free admission, parking pass, and special discounts. But right now you will receive two tickets to “Zoo Lights” at the Lake Superior Zoo and two tickets for the Duluth Children’s Museum too.
