The Boulder Lake Environmental Learning Center is again offering a few ways to do your holiday decorating naturally.

“Boulder Lake Environmental Learning Center is an 18,000-acre management area situated about 20 miles north of Duluth and 30 miles from the Range,” Zane Brosowske, facilities and stewardship manager, said.

They’re offering make-your-own-wreath kits now through Dec. 20. They cost between $20-35. You can pick them up at the ELC or have them delivered for an additional $10.

“We harvest all of the resources that you see here in a sustainable fashion,” Brosowske said.

There is also an opportunity to cut your own Christmas tree on Saturday, Dec. 3. Head out to Boulder Lake between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. to cut a tree for $15.
