Christmas Tea at the Merryweather Inn

Having Christmas Tea at the Merryweather Inn

Christmas Tea is a tradition at Duluth’s Merryweather Inn.

Christmas Tea is a tradition at Duluth’s Merryweather Inn.

The small bed and breakfast hosts the tea on Saturday afternoons from mid-November through the end of December.

“You get a full spread. You get the tea, you get scones, you get cookies and pastries and all sorts of little treats and different finger sandwiches as well,” Innkeeper Beth Koralia said.

She spends about two weeks decorating the inn for the holidays and pulls out the “fancy Christmas dishes” for the tea. Her favorite part is helping people get in the holiday spirit.

“It’s just getting to see all the people and everybody dresses up and making people happy,” she said. “That’s the best part.”

Tickets can be purchased at merryweatherinn.com.

Wednesday’s Lift will also feature the Spirit of the Lights display that is open to the public outside the bed and breakfast. Koralia also hosts parties, events, weddings, and more at the Merryweather Inn.
