Friday, the John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon is hosting a big fundraiser at The Depot to bring the mushing community together after 2024’s cancelation.

The event starts at 5:30pm and goes until about 9:30pm. There will be food, drinks, and The Depot is opening up a historic rail car that you’ll be able to drink in lounge in. There will also be fun merch that you can buy that will support the race.

The organization says that Friday’s event is all about gathering the sled dog marathon together despite there not being a race. And also talking about some of the volunteer activities that are offered all year long.
