The Arrowhead Home and Builders Show is coming to the DECC this weekend. It’s the largest show of its kind in the region and brings thousand of spectators and various experts.

Melissa Klug, a professional organizer, is excited to showcase her business, Home by Eleven, this weekend. Mellissa tells us, “I am brand new at the home show this year. So I am very excited to meet everybody, and I’m going to answer questions!”

She’ll be offering two presentations on how to de-clutter your life. “One of them is just regular home organizing. But the second one is about Downsizing After Decades. And so I’m actually really excited for that one because I think it’s really, really hard for people to imagine. You know, I’ve lived in this home for 40 years. How do I possibly, like, say goodbye to the things?”

Mellissa tells us these everyday habits can be the culprit of all the clutter: “So I have something that I say to clients a lot, and is there are four I call them the four swear words of organizing: might, could, maybe, and someday.

“There are a combination of things that that really get in people’s way. And so I think sometimes letting go of some of those things is really helpful for people to get and stay organized.”
