We still haven’t celebrated Thanksgiving, but this weekend it might start looking like the holidays.

Bentleyville

Let there be light. Bayfront Park becomes Bentleyville on Saturday. The free light display will again bring holiday cheer to thousands of people. It’s open from 5-9 p.m. Sunday-Thursday, and the lights stay on until 10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.

UWS International Cooking Demonstration

On the Wisconsin side of the Twin Ports this weekend, international students at UW-Superior are hosting a cooking demonstration. It goes from 5-8 p.m. Saturday at the Pilgrim Lutheran Church. There will be 10 recipes from different countries to sample.

Craft fairs

If you want to do some pre-Black Friday shopping while supporting local makers, there are a couple shows that might interest you. An art and craft fair runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Eastridge Community Church. And the Duluth Fiber Guild is selling goods from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Coppertop.
