It’s one of the biggest weekends of the year in Hayward, Wis. Thousands of skiers are in town for the American Birkebeiner cross country ski races. For spectators, there are a few places to sit down, relax, and enjoy some food and beverages.
Duluth Women’s Expo

At the DECC on Saturday, it’s all about the ladies. The Duluth Women’s Expo returns for a 14th year. There are more than 100 exhibitors and vendors, plus inspirational speakers, live music, a fashion show, and more. Tickets are $5 at the door or a donation to Safe Haven. It goes from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
UMD Feast of Nations
The International Club is hosting a “Feast of Nations.” The theme this year is “A Walk Through Time.” Dinner is served at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, followed by a fashion show and other performances. Tickets are $13 for non-students and $10 for students.

UWS Soul Food Dinner
Across the bridge, UWS has something similar. The Black Student Union and Department of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion are having a Soul Food Dinner. It also starts at 5:30 p.m. Saturday and is free.
