Community members are coming together for a unique show at the West Theatre. Go, Dog! Go. the Musical is taking stage April 28 – 30.

Retired Humane Educator Pat Castellano is a producer of this project. “She was looking at a fundraiser, and what a better story to raise money for dogs than they classic ‘Go, Dog! Go,'” Actor Tate Haglund explains.

Joel Youngblom adds, “If you’re familiar with the book, there isn’t much of a story there. It is just kind of zaniness with the dogs. The dogs do all sort of weird things, and we embody that.” They actors highlight that this story is fun for all ages.

Liz Larson is the director of this project. She was the director at Central High School, when many of the cast members were in school.

Thanks to generous grants from Arrowhead Regional Council and Irving Community Club- all donations collected at the show will go directly to Animal Allies. The suggested donation is $10 dollars, meaning you can give less or more, depending on your financial situation.

Performances are April 28-29 at 7 p.m. and a matinee sensory-friendly performance on April 30 at 2 p.m..
