Google Pay is shutdown in the U.S., audio and video calls now available on X, and Lenovo releases a see-through laptop.

Say goodbye to Google Pay. The app is being shut down in the U.S. As of June, “Pay” users will have to switch to Google Wallet. “Wallet” now has five times as many users as Google Pay. The company says the upcoming move will simplify payment methods.

Non-paying users can now make audio and video calls on “X.” Until now, the function had been limited to premium subscribers. Elon Musk recently said calling abilities would be expanded

Finally, a laptop we’ve never seen before. The see-through 17-inch screen is the main selling point of Lenovo’s newest laptop. It also features a touch keyboard and a stylus to draw or navigate with. Lenovo says one use could be for architects, using the see-through screen to design in a more “exacting” way. Right now, it’s only a prototype.
