New features for Apple’s updated operating system. iOS 16.3 will have an extra layer of protection for Apple ID, using physical keys for two-factor authentication. There’s new unity wallpaper in celebration of black history month, and an upgrade to the emergency SOS controls.

More users of Meta’s Messenger will be upgraded with end-to-end encryption over the next few months. Meta says the expansion is part of testing, as it develops a safe and secure network.
The company has said it will roll out default end-to-end encryption on all its apps this year.

The end of Windows 10 is near. Microsoft will stop selling downloads of the operating system next Tuesday. Support will continue until it’s completely phased out in the fall of 2025. Windows 10 came onto the scene in 2015.
