A federal probe of internet service providers. According to Bloomberg, the FCC is looking into whether providers have lied about their coverage areas. The news comes as providers are set to receive $42B as part of the 2021 infrastructure bill.
Instagram has a new broadcast chat feature. Channels allow creators to share one too many messages with followers. Testing of the feature began this week.
Finally, Tik Tok is launching a series of live trivia games. The games will be live-streamed on the official Tik Tok account. Categories will include lifestyle, sports and music, among others.
A $500,000 cash pool will be split between the winners. It starts next Wednesday.
