Tech Bytes: Competition for Twitter

Reports say Meta, the parent company of Facebook and Instagram, is exploring a new text-based social network, code-named P-92. It reportedly would be a stand-alone app, that users would log into with their Instagram accounts.

Car maker Audi has released an electric mountain bike. The e-Tron is going for more than $10,000.
Much of the cost appears to be due to the battery.Experts speculate it may provide more than 100 miles.

And finally, vinyl records have overtaken CD sales for the first time since 1987. 41 million old- fashioned records sold last year, compared to 33-million compact discs. The top seller on vinyl in 2022 was Taylor Swift – with 1.7 million.
